BELTS & HOSES

Belts and hoses are important parts that should be carefully inspected. Their failure could cause breakdown and complete engine failure. Keeping belts in working order are equally important as they typically drive the accessories, such as: water pumps, power steering pumps, air conditioning compressors, and alternators that keeps everything in your car fully operational. The cooling system is responsible for controlling the temperature of the car's engine and are affected by the belts and hoses. Several of these parts need attention so they work in the ideal way. Among these parts are the coolant/anti-freeze hoses which should be checked; as breaking could cause an engine to overheat. Also, in most engines, the belts will drive the water pump which is also an important part of the engine cooling system.

BRAKE REPAIR

Brakes are very important for safety reasons. It is recommended maintenance to have your brakes inspected every 15,000 miles, or at least once a year. Brakes squealing or grinding could be a sign of lack of brake pad surface and brake service needs to be performed immediately.

EXHAUST SYSTEM REPAIR

We can install exhaust manifolds and/or turbochargers that increase the engine’s power, catalytic converters which reduce air pollution, or replace mufflers when needed. These parts malfunctioning often cause a noise or a lack of usual engine power and should be inspected as soon as possible.

LUBE, OIL & FILTER CHANGE

It is recommended to use the right oil for your vehicle and perform the required services at the proper intervals as indicated by the manufacturer. The proper maintenance is important to keep the internal parts of your engine lubricated to prolong the lifetime of the engine.

CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEMS

Especially in South Florida, the air conditioning is extremely necessary. We can diagnose and perform complete checks and charge the refrigerant system with the proper fluid (Freon / typically R134 in newer vehicles) as needed, we can also convert your old (R12) system to the new (R134) style system… We can do it all!

COOLING SYSTEM REPAIR

The loss of a functional cooling system will lead to your engine overheating and causing severe damage to major engine parts. We can inspect and replace your radiator, thermostat, water pump or anything else that can be changed ahead of time in order to avoid overheating problems before they can cause severe damage.

TIRE SERVICES

If your car is facing a problem, our team can diagnose and repair it properly.

ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS

The electrical systems of your vehicle are very delicate. By taking care of these systems it will lower the risk of breaking-down in traffic. Attention is paid to several components in order to avoid damage when possible. We can diagnose and make repairs, from replacing a switch to reprogramming computer modules when needed. If you have any questions about what is happening with your electrical systems, please don’t hesitate to ask us about it.

ENGINE DIAGNOSTICS AND PERFORMANCE

It is normal for the "Check Engine" light to come on as a test every time we turn the key on with the ignition switch before starting the engine. At this point, the entire system is read to verify that the vehicle is ready to operate properly. Soon after starting, the light should go out, and if this does not occur and it is still on, or blinking, or switches on while driving, etc. it is because a problem has been detected. This also indicates that the problem has been recorded in one of the computer modules of your vehicle and here at Monaco Motors, we can perform needed diagnostics and complete the needed repairs to fix these type of engine performance problems that typically affects your fuel mileage and keeps your engine cleanest on the inside

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

Preventive maintenance of your car is a smart way to save money by taking away the risks of more serious problems. Despite the undeniable benefits, a lot of people forget to make some adjustments over time, which ends up hurting not only the performance of the vehicle and burning more fuel, but also causes new expenses of new parts other parts are not operating correctly. Let us check your vehicle for any needed preventive maintenance if you are not sure what is required or if you have missed a service interval.

STARTING, CHARGING & BATTERIES

If the car does not start as expected there may be a problem in an electrical portion of your car; the starting and charging system. When some components malfunction, they may draw too much energy from the vehicle’s battery. Problems with light bulbs, connections, or even items such as an additional GPS, DVD, Alarm, or any other device that may have been installed. (Typically, these additional features in the car, which do not come from the factory. For best results, they should be installed by specialists so as not to cause electrical problems that may cause the battery discharged.)
